In our fall issue, you can read features on local artists Glenn Wolff and Alexa Grambush. The issue also highlights the work of Housing North as they advocate for more affordable housing opportunities. See a photo essay from local photographer Liam Kaiser about his experience this last summer fighting wildfires out west, and read an essay by Traverse City-based writer, Kelsey Ramirez, as she recounts encounters with racism directed towards her. The issue also features a story on Michigan bonsai artist Matt Spinniken, and his attempts to ethically collect trees in northern Michigan for use in his practice.
